CommonWealth News
Several individuals and agencies are interested in finding out more, and possibly sponsoring, CommonWealth circles. Thanks to advocacy by former Des Moines Mayor Tom Urban, we are exploring the possibility of establishing circles in the Oakridge Neighborhood and at Evelyn Davis Learning Center. The CommonWealth is founded on the belief that we have all that we need within our community to have our basic needs met. CommonWealth meetings are a gathering of individuals who come together to let their needs be known and to offer their services to meet the needs of others. We are also excited about the possible expansion and the possible inclusion of the CommonWealth process in the Capital Crossroads Project.
Contact me to learn more about the CommonWealth process. Our next meeting is at 2708 Grand Avenue on July 23 form 10:00 - 12:00. Park in the rear and take the elevator to the 4th floor. All are welcome!
