CommonWealth Update

In August of 2010, a group of like-minded individuals founded the CommonWealth Project.  The CommonWealth Project was founded on the belief that we have all the resources that we need to meet our needs, and we just needed a mechanism to identify those needs so that they could be met.  We have been meeting weekly since then to continue that process.  Recently, we have added a function to CommonWealth that will broaden the scope of our project.  That function is a database called hOur World to manage the exchanges.   By using the database, we joined a national movement called Time Banking. What is Time Banking?

Helping your neighbors and earning time credits that can be used to receive services you need from any member.  In time banking, everyone's time is equal no matter what the service. Empowering individuals, organizations and businesses to help each other meet their needs cash free in one-to-one exchanges and in group projects.  Through exchanges, members build and strengthen community networks.
