Power Hour Lesson Four - The More You Give, The More You Get

This is one "secret" that I wished everyone knew.  The key to success in this world is to be of "service".  We are of service when we give unselfishly to others just because it is the right thing to do.  We often look for the "receiver" to return the favor, but fail to realize that we are rewarded by the Source of all gifts.  When we are in sync with the Source, through giving, we become the channel for good to come our way.  Some call it Karma, some say "What goes around, comes around", some say, "You reap what you sow".  It's all the same thing. You can tell that being of service is the right thing to do because it feels so good.  Our feelings are a good barometer as to whether what we are doing or thinking is in line with "good".  If it feels good and it is not at the expense of others, keep on doing it.  If not, that is a sign to do or think something different.  Many find that in times of low mood or lack of fulfillment in life that if they go give of themselves, their mood lifts and life takes on a new meaning.  That's the law in action.

There is a gospel *song that says,

You can't beat God's giving, no matter how you try. And just as sure as you are living and the Lord is in heaven on high. The more you give, the more He give to you, but keep on giving because it's really true

I know this to be true, because I live it every day.
