Popeye Was An Archtype

Did you know that Popeye was an archtype?  He is the spirit inside of you and I who appears when we have had enough of the abuse that we are experiencing - much of which is self-inflicted.  When he said,

That's all I can stands cuz I can't stands no more!

that meant that he was tired of putting up with the stuff around him and the abuse that he was experiencing.  When he had had enough, he pulled out his spinach - another name for Truth and Power - and got busy being all that he could be.  Have you had enough, Popeye?
